Charles F. Larson Dies at Gary Home
Relatives of Charles F. Larson, 71, were saddened by his sudden death
following a heart attack at his home at 560 Pennsylvania in Gary on
Wednesday, Nov. 16. Mr. Larson was a retired employee of the United
States Steel Co. Roll Shop in Gary, where he had resided for 37 years.
Services were held at the Williams and Burns Funeral Home on Saturday at
2 p.m. with the Rev. J.R. Woerner officiating. Burial was made in Gary.
Surviving are the widow, Julia; four brothers, Ernest of Frankfort,
Ind., Albert of Lowell, John of Hammond and Edward of Niles, Mich.; two
sisters, Mrs. Jennie Erickson of Niles, Mich., and Mrs. Edward Peterson
of Shelby.

Family of Charles Larson Extended Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to the Albert Larsons and Edward Petersons in the
death last week of Charles Larson of Gary. Mr. Larson died of a heart
attack on Wednesday, and burial was held in Gary on Saturday afternoon.
Survivors include his widow, Julia; sisters, Mrs. Edward Peterson of
Shelby and Mrs. Jennie Erickson of Niles, Mich.; and brothers John of
Hammond, Edward of Niles, Mich., Ernest of Frankfort, Ind., and Albert
of Shelby. The deceased, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson of
Lowell, was 66 years old. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Steel
Co. roll shop and a member of the East Side Civic club. Also, a
Republican vice committee chairman. Mr. Larson moved to Gary 37 years
ago.
Note that the age of Mr. Larson, at the time of his death, differs in the two articles.
