Daniel J. "Dan" Klein (1882-1928)

DIED IN MILWAUKEE

DAN KLEIN SUCCUMBS AFTER LONG ILLNESS.

Word was received here on Sunday of the death of Dan Klein, a former Lowell boy, who will be remembered by many of our people. Dan was just a young man when he left here to reside at Milwaukee, Wis., where he worked for a number of years.

Daniel J. Klein was born at Lowell, Ind., April 2, 1882. He was baptized in the Christian church at Lowell when 12 years old. He spent his early life at Lowell and went to Milwaukee when 18 years of age, where after an illness lasting about seven years he passed away December 25, 1928. He was employed as foreman by the Illuminating Lighting Company of Milwaukee up to the time of his last illness.

He leaves to mourn him his wife, Mrs. Lillian Klein, his step daughter, Miss Audrey Allen, his mother, Mrs. Alta Klein, of Hammond, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ina Robinson, Miss June Klein, and three brothers, Ole, Truman and Ernest Klein, all of Hammond.

He was laid to rest in the Forest Home cemetery, Thursday, December 27, 1928.
