"Brad" located at the county seat in 1916 when he was employed as a civil engineer by the Erie railroad company in the double tracking of that road. He later served as county highway superintendent for a number of years under the Republican administration, and then as city engineer of Crown Point. His last employment in the county was as city engineer of Hobart.
He was 49 years of age and during his long resident [sic] in the county had made many friends who regret to learn of his passing.
Funeral services and burial took place at Park Ridge, N.J.
