MISS PARKER AND HAROLD WHEELER TO WED
At an attractive party on Saturday evening Judge and Mrs. W.A. Jordan, of Conkey avenue, announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their grand-daughter, Miss Evelyn Edna Parker, to Harold W. Wheeler, of Hammond, and formerly of Lowell. The announcement was made to about twenty young people who had been invited to the Jordan home for an enjoyable informal evening. Bunco and 500 engaged the guests during the evening and later a delicious luncheon was served at one prettily decorated table where an artistic pink and white color scheme prevailed. The guests all found slender streamers of ribbon at their places leading to dainty cards concealed beneath a center piece of lovely bridal wreath. The names of Miss Parker and Mr. Wheeler were found upon the cards and the date of the wedding to be June twelfth.
