Throughout the year there is no day
Nor time that means so much
As Christmas and the Holidays
For then each heart is touched.
With wickedness forgotten
The world begins to sing
The carols so dear of yesteryear
To which fond memories cling.
No other time in all the year
Does joy descend on earth
And hide the pain while gladness reigns
To hail the Christ Child's birth.
No other time is the world so free
Of hate and greed nor is humanity
So prevalent. So let us pray
It will be thus each Christmas Day.
