Mrs. Mary E. Strong, who for several years made her home in Lowell with her husband, who was the buttermaker at the Cedar Valley creamery, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Lottes, in Crown Point on Friday of last week. Mrs. Strong had been confined to her bed with Bright's disease since last July. She was a widow, her husband having passed away a few years ago. She was 75 years of age. During her residence here she made many friends who will regret to hear of her death.
Funeral services were held at the Lottes' home on Sunday afternoon, interment being made in Maplewood cemetery in Crown Point.
