The following November 2, 1950, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 4:
Little Sue Ann Sorensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sorensen, was the honoree when her parents entertained at a family dinner celebrating the occasion of her second birthday on October 29th. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Homfeld of Hebron, Carl Sorensen of Crown Point, Miss June Sorensen of Renssalaer and Miss Ruth Sorensen of Lowell. Arthur Studer, Ruth's fiancé, was unable to attend as he has just become a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps and is now stationed at San Antonio, Texas.
