Roy Shoup, Former Lowell Resident, Dies

Area relatives and friends were sorry to learn of the death of Roy E. Shoup, 1829 Jackson Street, North Chicago. Memorial services were held Tuesday July 5 at the Peterson funeral home in Waukegan and burial was in North Shore Garden of Memories.

Roy was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clint Shoup. He was born and reared east of Lowell on the place now known as the Elliott farm. He moved to North Chicago with his parents when a young man.

Roy was a cousin of Mrs. C.U, Ragon and Orville Hale.
