The following undated, unidentified newspaper article was found in a copy of Helen Craft's Scrapbook at the Lowell Public Library:
In Memory of George Lester
George Lester, little son of Richard and Hattie Saylor, was born near Lowell, Ind., August 1, 1890, and was drowned in a watering tank at his grand-fathers October 4, 1892, age 2 years, 2 months and 3 days.
Another little life gone out, two little eyes closed to earthly sight.
Now beaming in heavenly light.
A little voice we will hear no more,
Now prattling to those gone before.
A little heart no more with ours to beat,
Till in that heavenly home we meet.
Two little hands we clasp no more,
Now beckoning us on the other shore.
Two little feet whose coming we did love,
Now walking the golding streets above.
