John Powers, of Blue Mound, Ill., and Mrs. Sadie Cadwell, of Schneider, were married December 1, 1920, at Macon, Ill., by Rev. Oren L. Clapper, pastor of the M.E. church of Macon.

They were accompanied by her father and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Spry and son, Arlie White. Mrs. Cadwell has been a very successful nurse for a number of years in the vicinity. Mr. Powers, a farmer, comes well recommended and owns property in Blue Mound, where they will reside for the present. Best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life are the wish of their friends.
