The double ring ceremony was read by Rev. E.L. Worley and vows were exchanged in the presence of the immediate families.
The bride wore a baby blue street length dress with a corsage of sweet peas. She had as her matron of honor, her sister, Mrs. Cecil Riley, who wore a rose street lenth dress and a corsage of yellow "mums."
The groom was attended by Cecil Riley.
Following the wedding, a light luncheon of ice cream and cake was served.
Ensign Porch and his bride left for a short honeymoon in Chicago, after which they go to New York to live while Ensign Porch attends school after having seen service overseas for some time.
Those present for the ceremonies were: Mr. and Mrs. Mark Porch and son, Dennis, of Valparaiso, Mr. and Mrs. John McMann of Lowell, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gaarz and son, Jackie Gerner of Schneider, Mrs. Jerry Rejohn and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bolt and children of Lowell.
