Robert M. Peterson

Robert M. Peterson, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion R. Peterson, 36 W. Walnut St., Crown Point, Ind., was promoted to Army specialist four March 24 while serving with the 178th Supply Company near Saigon, Vietnam.

A parts specialist in the company, Spec. Peterson entered on active duty in October 1966, completed basic training at Ft. Campbell, Ky., and was stationed at Ft. Ord, Calif., prior to his arrival in Vietnam.

Peterson is a 1966 graduate of Rensselaer Central high School.

Before entering the Army he was employed by Bethlehem Steel in Portage.
