Obituary
George Moyer was born in Gilman, Ill., September 16, 1858, and passed away at his home east of Shelby, June 6, 1929, at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 20 days.
He was married to Miss Loretta Clark in 1881. To this union twelve children were born, eleven of whom survive, one having passed away in infancy.
He moved with his family to this vicinity 41 years ago and has since made his home here with the exception of a short time spent in North Dakota. Several years ago he united with the Presbyterian church at Schneider and retained his membership to the time of his death.
He leaves to mourn him, his wife, and eleven children, as follows: Arthur, Ben, Juell, James, Lyman, Gertrude, Bert, Zay, Opal, Otis and Ida, besides numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at the home east of Shelby, last Saturday with the services being conducted by Rev. Jacob Woerner. Interment was made in the Lowell cemetery in charge of Undertakers Sheets and Son.
