Lowell Post 101, American Legion, will conduct military services at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and interment will be in the Lowell cemetery.
Pfc. Lowe, a graduate of Mt. Ayr high school, received his basic training at Fort Riley, Kansas, and attended Military Police school at Camp Gordon, Georgia. He was sent to Japan January 2, 1951, and was transferred to the infantry in Korea.
On March 10th he was wounded and after two months hospitalization, returned to the front lines where he fell in battle on June 26.
Besides his parents and a host of relatives and friends, Pfc. Lowe is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Betty Wood of South Bend, Marie Gertrude and Penelope Ann at home; also two brothers, Robert, Jr., of Roselawn and Wallace Arthur, who is serving with the Marine Corps.
