The following May 29, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 5:
Cpl. William "Bill" Lacy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lacy, was discharged from the Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Thursday. "Bill" spent a total of three years and nine months in service, two years and six months of that time were spent in Korea.
