He departed this life at the home of his son, L.A. Kinney, at Royal Center, Ind., March 9, 1925, and interment was made in the Davis cemetery at Burnettsville March 11th.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Susie Kinney; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Miller, of Logansport; a son, Lyman A. Kinney, of Royal Center; also, three step-daughters, Mrs. Bernice Tyson, of Chicago, Mrs. Elwood Forney, of Gary, and Mrs. Georgia Coleman, of Lankershein, Cal; also, fourteen grand-children and one great-grand-child, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Kinney made his home here until a few months ago when the condition of his health compelled him to give up his position as flagman at the Monon crossings. During his long residence here he made many warm friends who will regret to hear of his death.
