The following exerpt of an unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Saturday as John Kimmet was coming down the steps at his home and when he had reached the bottom step his feet slipped from under him, throwing him backward, his head striking the steps and cutting quite a gash in the back part of his head.
