Injuries Fatal to Norman Hutson, 25

Enroute to Lowell on Labor Day to join his wife, the former Dorothy Norris of Cedar Lake, and two little sons, Barney, 4, and Ricky, 3, who had driven down earlier to enjoy the parade, Norman Hustson, 25 lost control of his motorcycle near the old half-way house on the Crown Point - Cedar Lake road and was critically injured. He passed away at the Gary Methodist hospital at midnight Tuesday.

The Hutson family, who recently purchased a new home at Independence Hill, had planned to spend Labor Day with his mother, Mrs. Arnold Alyea of 345 North Burnham Avenue.

Born in South Bend, Norman served with the Air Corps and came to Lowell in 1946. He was a superintendent at the Illiana Warehouse in Hammond.

Memorial services will be held at the Geisen funeral home in Crown Point at 1:30 pm Saturday and interment will be in Maplewood cemetery.
