The following unidentified newspaper article, hand-dated 1918, was found in a scrapbook owned by Harriet Hoevet Bennett:
Lemar Rudolph Hoevet was born May 6, 1914, in Lowell. He was baptized June 14, 1914, by Rev. Gustav. Horst, pastor of the Evangelical church. The little fellow was called to the home above December 21 at the age of 4 years, 7 months and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoevet, one sister and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W.J.R. Simmons, were held December 24. He was laid to rest in Lake Prairie cemetery, Undertaker Weaver in charge.
