Harry Jr. was born in Lowell December 1, 1924, and at the time of his death was 9 years and 6 days of age. He was a student at the McKinley school in East Chicago and was a very popular lad among his playmates and many friends who sincerely mourn his untimely death.
Short services were held at the home at 5113 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Sunday at 12:30, after which the remains were brought to Lowell where services were conducted by Rev. Bolden, pastor of the East Chicago Christian church, assisted by Rev. J.E. Poer, pastor of the Lowell Christian church, at the Weaver & Son funeral home. Interment was made in the Lowell cemetery in charge of Weaver & Son.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hilzley; one brother, Dean; two sisters, Harriet and Dorothy; his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hilzley and N.E. Clark; and many other relatives and friends.
