The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903/4) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
In a letter to friends Mayme Goslee says: "I am getting along nicely with my work, and I like it very much. We have two and [a] half hours off every afternoon to rest, and a nice 18-roomed cottage to stay at when off duty. We have a lady to keep everything straight at the cottage. Everything here is run on military plans, and everybody has to be in uniform.
