Charles A. Gerrard

ROSE LAWN MAN PASSED AWAY LAST WEDNESDAY

Charles A. Gerrard, 68, passed away at the Jasper county hospital, Rensselaer, Wednesday of last week. A veteran of the Spanish-American war, he worked at the printer's trade from young manhood until 1931. Since that time he had resided on a farm near Rose Lawn.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two step-daughters, and four foster children, 14 step-grandchildren and 12 great grand children.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. E.L. Worley, were held at the Rose Lawn Church Friday, with interment in Rose Lawn cemetery in charge of Kenneth Sheets.
