WELL KNOWN CEDAR LAKE REALTOR DIED SUNDAY

Funeral services were held at the Holy Name church at Cook yesterday morning for Martin * Burke, 62, who passed away at Mercy hospital in Gary, Sunday.

He had been a resident of Cedar Lake the past 15 years and had been engaged in the real estate business.

He is survived by his widow, Daisy and two brothers, Martin of Cedar Lake and Stephen of Quebec, Can.

* NOTE

Although the deceased is named "Martin Burke" in this obituary, a brother named "Martin Burke" is listed among the survivors. It is likely that there was an error in the paper regarding the name of the deceased, since a 1970 obituary for Daisy Burke (the wife of the deceased in the above obituary) lists her husband's name as "Michael."
