The following article was found in the March 4, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 5, column 3:
Mrs. Charles Reeves and Homer John Reeves were in Chicago Monday visiting Erma Brian, daughter of Mrs. Reeves, who is well known here. Erma is going to join the army nurses' corps April 15th. Homer returned to Great Lakes yesterday.
This March 25, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Miss Irma Brian visited her mother, Mrs. Charles Reeves, several days before entering the U.S. service as a nurse. She has been employed at Henrotin hospital, Chicago.
The following April 8, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Miss Irma Brian was the guest of her mother, Mrs. Charles Reeves, and family over the week-end. She will soon enter the U.S. nurses' service.
