FORMER RESIDENT DEAD
Marion Baer, of Monon, passed away quite suddenly in the Lafayette hospital last Thursday. He was taken sick with erysipelas and from the start his condition was serious. The deceased formerly lived in Lowell with his family. He was section boss on the Monon for several years while here and had a host of warm friends here who will regret to hear of his death. He leaves a family of grown children.

FUNERAL OF MARION BAER
The funeral of Marion Baer, whose death occurred at the Lafayette hospital on Thursday, was held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He leaves to mourn his death three sons, Roscoe and Virgil of Gary and Clifford of Hammond, one daughter, Jessie Medore of Gary, and a grand daughter, one brother Ben Baer of Monticello and a sister, Mrs. Luse of Buffalo.
