He was united in marriage to Emma Harrison, August 7, 1887, at Lowell, Ind. To this union five children were born, three sons and two daughters: John Wilson Ault, of Chicago; Carl Liston Ault and Isaac Andrew Ault, of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Daisy Pearl Smith and Mrs. Hattie Mirl Veto, of Crown Point.
He lived in Lowell and vicinity, where he was well known practically all his life until moving to the county seat a few years ago.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, two daughters, 13 grand children, two great-grand-children, and one sister, Mrs. R.H. Goddard, of Schneider.
Funeral services were held at the home in Crown Point on Wednesday, April 18th and were in charge of Rev. M.A. Madsen, pastor of the Crown Point Christian church. Interment in Lowell cemetery in charge of Sheets& Son.
Page 8, Column 6:
Wilson Ault, a resident on South West street in this city, died at his home on Monday after an illness of several months' duration.
He was commonly known as "Wid." He came to Crown Point several years ago from the south end of the county where several relatives, including one sister, Mrs. R.H. Goddard of Schneider, reside. He was the father of Mrs. Jack Smith, of this city.
The remains were removed to Lowell where funeral services were held. A number of Crown Pointers attended the rites in respect to his children who are members of the American Legion and Auxiliary.
